Organic wholewheat couscous is made using whole durum wheat semolina. Wholemeal couscous contains the hull so is higher in a range of nutrients than regular couscous but it still cooks into a light fluffy consistency. Purchase this product either in a glass, airtight, labelled jar or a brown bag refill.
For 1 cup of dry couscous use 1.5 cups of water. 2. Add to pan of boiling water, stir once with a spoon, cover, and remove from heat. 3. Let steam for 5 minutes, then fluff with fork.
